After the COVID-19 epidemic season, the retailer recognises that essential goods is not only food, but also includes medical supplies and equipment such as medical masks . There are also different demands depending on locations, customer segments, and buying power. Saigon Co.op will be launching many promotions for these categories that will last from now until the end of June 2022. The discounts will range from 15-20% for fresh food. Special discounts to celebrate the retailer's 33 years in operation will also be applied in May. Saigon Co.op has actively negotiated with suppliers, reducing profits to share with consumers, helping the price increase more slowly.
