Walmart China’s latest project has been renovating its Longgang hypermarket, which has adopted many of the digital elements used in its supermarket format. Walmart Longgang offers a blueprint for renovating other Walmart stores across network, with fresh area expanded and the overall experience upgraded.

A closer look at Lidl US new concept. We recently visited one of the newly opened Lidl stores in Lacey, New Jersey. The new concept introduces new types of fixtures with a more premium and improved design. It is more aligned with American shoppers' needs and expectations.

We visited Walmart’s flagship Lomas Toreo store in Mexico City. It features many of the retailer’s latest omnichannel initiatives, which enhance the shopping experience. It is the first store in Mexico to feature an online Pick-up tower and the first to showcase its modern Café Marketside concept.

Dagrofa, which operates the SPAR banner in Denmark, has opened a flagship store in the highly competitive Copenhagen market. The new store introduces a completely updated design for the banner in the country, creating a new, shopper-first layout and offer that helps it stand out. Created to help SPAR’s independent store owners grow sales and with shoppers firmly front of mind, the format has generated a win-win situation for both parties.

The Perekrestok dark store is one of three types of fulfilment solutions that deliver in Moscow and the wider region. The other two types of online fulfilment units are a regular store and a hybrid one. In comparison to the other two fulfilment formats, the dark store has the advantage of greater picking efficiency and speed. We visited the store to observe its operational effeciency.
