Mexican retailer Chedraui has announced plans to open 24 new stores across its formats in 2019. This is 18 stores fewer than the 42 openings projected in 2018. We look at Mexican-based Chedraui’s Q2 results and future expansion plans. Positive Q2 Chedraui has reported consolidated sales growth of +21% in Q2 2018 to MXN27,942m (US$1,473m).
