Online grocer Ocado has delivered a second year of profits and growing customer numbers despite a very competitive environment in the UK grocery market. The UK press has reported that there have been ‘rumours in the City’ that Amazon could be preparing to make an approach for Ocado, as part of its plans to launch a full grocery delivery service in the UK.
