Ocado has confirmed gross sales grew by 11.4% to £716.2m for the 52 week period of 2012. The pure play retailer expanded its range by 40% during the year to reach 28,000 SKUs, as CEO Tim Steiner aims to move from 'supermarket to hypermarket' status. For the six trading weeks to 06 January 2013 Ocado has reported 14.2% gross sales growth to £91.6m, while gross sales in the seven days to Christmas were up 17% to £21.8m.
