Following the announcement of variety discounter Poundstretcher's CVA approval, the retailer begins its restructuring process with the departure of its finance chief.

A report filed in Companies House has revealed that Poundstretcher's financial director, Hemant Patel, is leaving the business. He has worked at the retailer for five years.

Tesco appoints new F&F Chief Executive

Jan Marchant has been promoted to CEO of Tesco's F&F clothing division, reports Drapers magazine. Marchant has more than ten years experience with the brand, in senior buying, creative and digital roles.

The new appointment follows the departure of Richard Price, who left Tesco to join M&S to lead its clothing and home business earlier this year.
